Some of you might still remember my old Emporia USA website with the image of the village. Because the company was called Professor Theophilus’ Emporium of Imagination, Inc., I named my fictitious town Emporia USA (No, I’ve never been to Emporia, Kansas.) and gave it a bookstore for buying books, a coffee shop for discussions, a wax museum with 3d models just for fun, and another building that served as an art gallery or an academy. For the new website, I’ve chosen to replace the village metaphor with a steampunk factory theme though I hope this new site will be even more of a community than my old site. For old time’s sake, I’ve posted the village banner above. It brings back good memories for me, and I look forward to making new memories with this new, upgraded site.
